CAS Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform Development, Testing and Integration of Automation Software (NSD, Ansible Playbooks, Mistral workflows, etc.) in Nokia lab as part of the Nokia lab deployment, covering listed tasks.
• Manage development of NSDs (Network Service Design) and APBs (Ansible Playbooks) for lifecycle management activities for CNFs (Cloud Native Functions), including standalone servers and proprietary environments.
• Collaborate with diverse application integration teams to gather requirements and improve playbooks.
• Design and develop precise automation solutions to meet customer-specific requirements.
• Validate end‑to‑end logic while working with application integration teams.
• Maintain a developer's guide outlining all SOPs and processes for the integration team.
• Ensure code quality with proper logging and commenting.
• Support debugging sessions and resolve issues discovered during the validation process.
• Assist in debugging daily operations and maintenance as per Nokia support model.
• Track issues and test solutions before releasing them to customers.
• Test change requests and feature requirements for CARE issues.
