Seeking a Mainframe Architect with extensive knowledge of z/OS System Administration, Production Control, Scheduling, Storage, Network, DB2, IMS, CICS, MQ, WAS, RACF, Performance & Capacity Management, Automation (IBM SA & CA OPS/MVS).

• Highly skilled z/OS System Architect with IODF/IOCP Skills
• Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining IBM z/OS and associated system software (e.g., SMP/E, JES2, RACF, SMF)
• Strong understanding of Production Control and Scheduling; experience with IWS (TWS) & JOBTRAC tools
• Deep knowledge of IBM Z architecture, workload management (WLM), performance tuning, and system-level debugging
• Expertise in z/OS version upgrades and z/OS MF
• Experience with VTS & Hardware Upgrades
• Leadership in managing Mainframe teams including System Programmers, Administrators, and Production Control
• Providing technical guidance on z/OS systems, storage, networking, security, and automation
• Driving best practices in system administration, upgrades, capacity planning, and disaster recovery
• Leading root cause analysis and resolution of complex system issues

• Knowledge of Mainframe System Automation tools, e.g., IBM SA z/OS and CA OPS/MVS
• Expertise in Mainframe Network Administration
• Understanding of Storage, RACF, CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, WAS Technologies
• Experience with Migration projects - CA-OPS/MVS to IBM System Automation and vice versa
• Proficiency in REXX, CLIST, and Netview PIPE Programming
• Ability to prepare and maintain documentation on configurations and procedures
