Plano TX (remote but CST working hours)

We're seeking a seasoned ETL expert to architect scalable, cloud-native data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. This role demands deep experience in real-time and batch processing, cloud data warehousing, and advanced data engineering practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize ETL pipelines using Dataflow, Big Query, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer
• Handle high-volume structured/unstructured data via batch, streaming, and API workflows
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the ETL lifecycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into efficient data architectures
• Automate, monitor, and document ETL processes with CI/CD integration via Git

Key

Skills:

• 12+ years in ETL development with SQL, Python, Apache Beam
• Expert in Google Cloud Platform services and orchestration tools (Airflow/Composer)
• Strong in DML, query optimization, data modeling, and performance tuning
• Experience with real-time streaming and event-driven architectures
• Agile mindset and excellent problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master's in CS or related field
• Proven ETL/DWH experience; strong communication and collaboration

Preferred:

• Google Cloud Platform Big Query expertise; familiarity with modern data frameworks
