Data Warehouse Consultant

Position Summary

Data warehouse Engineer – W2 contract. Locations:
Plano, TX and Jersey City, NJ. Duration: 12 months. Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

• Proven experience as a Data Warehouse Engineer focusing on shell scripting and Oracle development.
• Experience setting up Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of Unix file systems: mount types, permissions, standard tools, pipes.
• Proficiency in Python and preferably Perl.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle Exadata.
• Understanding of Agile methodology.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Passion for automation and continual process improvement.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM‑related field.
• Implement, configure, and manage Linux‑based processes and infrastructure for data warehousing.
• Identify and implement system/architecture improvements.
• Enhance various Linux‑based toolsets, scripts, jobs and processes.
• Enhance ETL/database load/extract processes.

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Warehouse Engineer.
• Strong background in shell scripting and Oracle.
• Linux experience and shell scripting.
• Python and Perl proficiency.
• Experience with Oracle Exadata (preferred).
• Understanding of Agile.
• Strong communication skills.
• BS in STEM field.

Pay Range: $68–$70 per hour (W2).
