OverviewThe Salesforce Solution Engineer will play a critical role in shaping Pepsi Co’s global Salesforce landscape by designing, architecting, and guiding the delivery of scalable, high‑quality Salesforce solutions. This role combines technical architecture, hands‑on solution engineering, and strategic influence across multiple business sectors. You will define the end‑to‑end technical solution, create architecture documentation, review and guide development work (including SI partner deliverables), and ensure the solution adheres to Pepsi Co standards.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to stay deeply technical, drive architectural decisions, and directly impact major global initiatives across Sales, Service, Consumer Goods, and Experience Cloud environments.
- Work with Sector Delivery leads and Product Managers to transform new requirements into best‑practice Salesforce architecture and design.
- Work directly with stakeholders to design and govern highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
- Create high‑level architecture/design documents that leverage Salesforce best practices and Pepsi Co standards.
- Deal with ambiguous problems, take responsibility for finding solutions, and drive towards simple solutions to complex problems.
- Troubleshoot key implementation issues and demonstrate ability to drive successful resolution.
- Use deep business knowledge of Salesforce products to assist with estimation for major new initiatives.
- Contribute to CoE building activities by creating reference architectures, common patterns, data models, and reusable assets that empower stakeholders to maximize business value using the breadth of Salesforce solutions available, also harvesting knowledge from existing implementations.
- Evangelize and educate internal stakeholders about Salesforce technology (e.g., CoPs, workshops, or conferences).
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $106,400 and $178,100.

- Bonus based on performance; eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Business, or a similar field.
- 15+ years of overall IT experience with a demonstrated track record of major solution‑design/architecture contributions in a large enterprise.
- At least 8–10 years of experience with , including prior experience customizing Salesforce using Apex classes/triggers, LWCs, Lightning, and integration technologies such as SOAP or REST.
- At least 4 years of experience as a Salesforce Architect or Technical Lead.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud (application design, architecture, and development).
- Agile delivery experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with Salesforce Mobile SDK.
- Experience with Sales, Service, Experience, CG Cloud, or Field Service Lightning.
- Active Salesforce Developer or Architect certification.
