The People Soft HCM Techno‑Functional Resource will work on migration from People Soft to Workday. You will bridge the gap between technical execution and functional requirements, specializing in the extraction of legacy data and its successful transformation and loading into Workday. This role requires a deep understanding of People Soft Core HCM, Payroll, and Benefits, combined with the technical proficiency to manage complex data mapping and ETL processes.

• Data Migration & Mapping:
  Lead the end‑to‑end data conversion lifecycle, including identifying legacy data sources, cleansing redundant records, and mapping People Soft data fields to Workday structures.
• Technical Development:
  Design and develop People Soft extraction programs using SQR, Application Engine, and SQL to pull historical and current data for migration.
• Transformation & Loading:
  Transform extracted People Soft data into Workday‑compatible formats (e.g., iLoad templates or EIB spreadsheets) and support the loading process into Workday tenants.
• Functional Expertise:
  Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Core HCM, Payroll, and Benefits modules, ensuring business processes and rules are accurately reflected in the new system.
• Testing & Validation:
  Conduct rigorous data validation and parallel testing, comparing People Soft payroll results against Workday to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with cross‑functional teams (HR, IT, and external vendors) to resolve data‑related issues and ensure a smooth cutover.

• 7+ years of experience in People Soft HCM with at least 3 years specifically focused on Workday migration or large‑scale data conversion projects.
• In‑depth functional knowledge of People Soft 9.2 HCM, including Core HR, North American Payroll, and Base Benefits/Benefits Administration.
• Expert‑level proficiency in People Soft development tools:
  Application Designer, People Code, SQR, Application Engine, Component Interface (CI), and Data Mover.
• Workday Knowledge – Familiarity with Workday’s data model, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and data loading tools.
• Strong ability to perform fit‑gap analysis between People Soft and Workday functionalities.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
