Powerschool People Experience Operations Manager

Our People Experience (PX) team leads Power School's human-resources function, equipping and encouraging Power Schoolers to reach their potential while driving business results. The PX team manages the organization's global workforce infrastructure; supports the overall employee experience; and attracts, develops, and retains talent.
ResponsibilitiesThe North America PX Operations team is responsible for performing a broad range of People Operations functions, including onboarding, employee administration, employee records maintenance, administering HR policies and procedures, and compliance management. The team interfaces with several different functional groups across the organization, as well as third-party payroll and benefits providers. This position is based in Plano, TX.
Your day-to-day job will consist of:
- Lead and develop a team of People Operations professionals who help support the North America People Experience (PX) team and Power School's internal customers.
- Lead Power School's domestic and international contractor management and liaise and build contractor and key internal relationships with Sales and other internal teams, specifically as we expand our international presence.
- Lead complex, large-scale PX and Compliance programs from initiation through delivery.
- Lead the global immigration function.
- Responsible for ensuring all on-boarding and off-boarding activities are captured as required.
- Prepare and maintain data for employment related changes, including hiring, termination, pay, position, and supervisor changes.
- Ensure PX processes are followed according to established procedures.
- Ensure Power School is compliant with all local/state/federal/foreign regulations.
- Support the design and implementation of Workday.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant and related work experience.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration.
- 3+ years of experience leading People/HR Operations Teams.
- 1+ years' experience managing an HR Compliance function, including SOX requirements.
- Independently manage project plans, strategies, and execution of PX programs, coordinating with cross-functional teams to identify and address dependencies with key partners.
- Demonstrated capability in handling multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- The ability to partner and interface with leadership team on multiple focal points.
- Must be able to demonstrate an extremely high level of customer service to all organization levels (individual contributor to executive).

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $104,000 - $134,500 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; specific geographic location; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
