Mustang Creek Estates is looking for a highly organized and dedicated Human Resources Coordinator for our Corporate Office (Plano/On-Site).

This role supports core Human Resources operations by managing recruiting and applicant tracking processes, including campus recruitment coordination, ATS maintenance, onboarding compliance, and weekly reporting. It ensures accurate employee file management and compliance with federal, state, and company requirements, including I-9 and E-Verify documentation. The position also administers unemployment claims, handles employment verifications, and serves as the primary first point of contact for employees, applicants, and external partners by responding to HR inquiries, routing issues appropriately, and assisting with employee technology login and setup, all while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate campus recruitment efforts, including job postings, applicant tracking metrics, and candidate communications
  • Maintain and manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and compliance throughout the hiring process
  • Coordinate onboarding file compliance, background checks, and applicable pre-hire paperwork organization
  • Maintain weekly metric reporting and communication regarding recruitment efforts
Employee File Management and Compliance
  • Tracking and compiling employee files in accordance with federal, state, and company compliance requirements
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation for new hires, status changes, and terminations
  • Maintain I-9 documentation in the company database and coordinate the timely processing of required I-9 information and E-Verify reporting
Unemployment Claims Administration
  • Process and respond to unemployment claims promptly
  • Gather required documentation and coordinate with campus leadership and external agencies as needed
Employment Verifications
  • Handle verifications of employment requests, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policy and applicable laws
First Point of Contact for HR
  • Serve as the primary, first-line of contact for employees, applicants, and external partners
  • Respond to general HR inquiries and route issues appropriately while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
  • Responsible for troubleshooting employee technology logins and setup
  • Assist in training of new campus leaders regarding HR process and technology
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in Human Resources
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on employee satisfaction
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Must have technology experience with HR systems such as ADP, Clear Company, or similar
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple demands and prioritize
  • Ability to act and supervise in a professional and courteous manner
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to follow MCE policies and procedures
  • Ability to attain Mustang Creek Estates Team Member Characteristics
  • Must have a reliable vehicle for local transportation
  • Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and the ability to maintain state insurance coverage
