Overview

Aimbridge Corporate - Director Transitions-Operations Address 5301 Headquarters Drive, Plano, TX, 75024

The Director Transition Operations is responsible for onboarding newly acquisitioned properties and new builds. Responsible for the oversight and management of hotel operations during the pre-transition and initial management of the property.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or previous experience in the hotel hospitality field required.
  • At least 6 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Mathematical skills are needed including, but not limited to basic math, problem solving, reasoning, negotiating, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, variances and percentages are often used.
  • Strong leadership skills with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, planning and organizational ability.
  • Comfortable working in fast paced environment and willingness to be on call when away from work.
Responsibilities
  • Engage owners, senior leadership, brands, and property leaders in the process of opening and transitioning hotels.
  • Provide timely feedback in the progress of each project including but not limited to, scheduled calls, detailed call notes, completion of TCC tasks, completion of brand critical paths, and owner consensus.
  • Communicate with property and above property leadership teams candid assessments and solution-oriented approaches to all openings and transitions.
  • Coordinate with Transition Team in timely fashion.
  • Provide effective turnover of all projects to operations.
