Travel RN - Cardiovascular ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVICU RN for an Advanced Vent Unit position in Texas requiring at least one year of recent specialty experience and an active TX or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Advanced Vent Unit within a Cardiovascular ICU setting,

• Treats critically ill cardiovascular and ventilated patients,

• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM,

• 13-week assignment length,

• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius,

Job Requirements

• Active TX or compact state RN license required,

• At least one year of recent CVICU nursing experience required,

• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) from AHA or ARC,

• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months,

• Valid US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration,

• Professional references required: two for FL and MO, one for all other states,

• Care for critically ill cardiovascular patients requiring advanced respiratory support,

• Holiday and weekend coverage may be expected as per unit needs,

• Dress code and scrub requirements provided upon assignment,
