- Assist in implementing and promoting company safety policies, training and procedures.
- Create impactful training content using tools like Canva, Heygen, and other digital platforms to develop videos, infographics, and visual materials that make safety training engaging and memorable
- Design and produce safety communications, posters, digital signage, and social media content for internal audiences
- Support routine safety inspections, hazard assessments, and ride-along
- Help coordinate and track employee safety training and maintain training records.
- Participate in incident reporting and investigation processes, documenting findings.
- Monitor driver safety and implement safety initiatives
- Develop and deliver safety orientations and toolbox talks (bonus points if you can record and edit them!)
- Support the management of workers' compensation claims by:
- Gathering incident reports and related documentation.
- Assisting with initial claim filing and communication with insurance providers.
- Tracking claim progress and maintaining confidentiality.
- Coordinating return-to-work programs with management.
- Tech-savvy mindset - comfortable learning and using digital tools to create professional content
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) - this is a must
- Experience with design tools like Canva is a huge plus (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Familiarity with video creation/editing tools like Heygen, Loom, or similar platforms is a bonus
- Some safety experience or safety training background preferred, but not required - we value creativity and communication skills just as much
- Strong communication skills, both written and visual
- Comfortable with travel for site visits and training sessions
- Self-starter who can work independently in a hybrid environment
