Overview

Patient Recruitment & Clinic/Community Outreach Specialist

Plano, TX | Full-Time | In-person

Stryde Research

Stryde Research is seeking a Patient Recruitment & Community Outreach Specialist to support the growth of our clinical research programs across the DFW area. This role blends patient-facing recruitment efforts with clinic and community outreach, and requires flexibility—no two weeks look the same. Some weeks will focus more heavily on patient recruitment, while others may emphasize clinic or community outreach.

This is not a sales role. It’s a relationship-driven position focused on trust, education, and connection—with patients, providers, and community partners.

What You’ll Do
  • Support patient recruitment by speaking with patients about current and upcoming clinical research studies
  • Educate potential participants with empathy, accuracy, and professionalism
  • Assist the recruitment team with outreach calls and follow-ups
  • Conduct clinic and community outreach by visiting healthcare provider offices and clinics on scheduled outreach days
  • Build and maintain relationships with providers and office staff
  • Represent Stryde Research at community events, health fairs, and local gatherings
  • Balance weekly priorities based on clinic needs, adjusting time between recruitment and outreach as needed
  • Share study materials, referral resources, and clinic information
  • Identify new recruitment and outreach opportunities and partnerships
  • Collect feedback from patients, providers, and community members to improve engagement efforts
What We’re Looking For
  • Comfortable speaking with patients and the public about healthcare topics
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Flexible and adaptable—able to shift focus week to week
  • Experience in patient recruitment, outreach, marketing, or communication roles preferred
  • Healthcare or clinical research experience a plus, not required
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
  • Willingness to work on weekends for events
Salary Range

Based on experience and qualifications

Benefits
  • Medical, dental, and vision healthcare plans
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Full-time role with growth opportunity and community impact
