Overview

Live Oak Pharmacy is seeking an experienced and motivated Full-Time Pharmacist to join our team. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with strong leadership abilities, extensive hands-on experience in sterile and non-sterile compounding, and proficiency with Pioneer Rx pharmacy software. The pharmacist will play a key role in daily operations, clinical services, and supporting pharmacy staff while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately verify and dispense prescription medications in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Utilize Pioneer Rx pharmacy software for prescription processing, workflow management, and documentation
  • Perform and oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding in accordance with USP , , and standards
  • Provide patient counseling and medication therapy management
  • Serve as a clinical and operational leader within the pharmacy
  • Support and guide pharmacy technicians and interns to ensure efficient workflow
  • Ensure adherence to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, and controlled substance accountability
  • Collaborate with ownership and management to improve pharmacy operations and patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of practice
  • Full-time availability
  • Hands-on experience with Pioneer Rx pharmacy software (required)
  • Strong experience in sterile and non-sterile compounding (required)
  • Solid understanding of USP , , and regulations
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a pharmacy setting
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in an independent or compounding pharmacy
  • Experience training or supervising pharmacy staff
