Live Oak Pharmacy is seeking an experienced and motivated Full-Time Pharmacist to join our team. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with strong leadership abilities, extensive hands-on experience in sterile and non-sterile compounding, and proficiency with Pioneer Rx pharmacy software. The pharmacist will play a key role in daily operations, clinical services, and supporting pharmacy staff while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities- Accurately verify and dispense prescription medications in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Utilize Pioneer Rx pharmacy software for prescription processing, workflow management, and documentation
- Perform and oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding in accordance with USP , , and standards
- Provide patient counseling and medication therapy management
- Serve as a clinical and operational leader within the pharmacy
- Support and guide pharmacy technicians and interns to ensure efficient workflow
- Ensure adherence to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and controlled substance accountability
- Collaborate with ownership and management to improve pharmacy operations and patient outcomes
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of practice
- Full-time availability
- Hands-on experience with Pioneer Rx pharmacy software (required)
- Strong experience in sterile and non-sterile compounding (required)
- Solid understanding of USP , , and regulations
- Demonstrated leadership skills in a pharmacy setting
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and lead in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in an independent or compounding pharmacy
- Experience training or supervising pharmacy staff
