Salary: $18 - $23 per hour

Live Oak Pharmacy is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our pharmacy team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists in accurately dispensing prescription medications

Process and fill prescriptions efficiently and accurately

Perform pharmaceutical calculations as necessary

Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper storage of medications

Utilize Pioneer Rx software for prescription processing, adjudications, and billing

Handle adjudication issues and troubleshoot billing discrepancies

Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and other team members to provide excellent patient care

Stay up-to-date on pharmaceutical products, drug names, and brands

Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practices

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Has recent experience with compounding sterile and non sterile

Requirements:

Certified Pharmacy Technician registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a sterile compounding and non sterile

Proficiency in Pioneer Rx software with at least 2 years of experience

Familiar with USP 795, USP 797 and USP 800

Excellent knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug names, and brands

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work well within a team

Legal authorization to work in the United States

Flexibility to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
