Surg Center of Plano is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to join our team!

  • Position requires weekdays only – no holidays, weekends, nights, or on‑call duties.

Surg Center of Plano was established by clinical personnel to offer safe, high‑quality surgical care. Specialties include ENT, Orthopaedic/Total Joints, Sports Medicine, Podiatry, and Pain Management. The center is accredited by the Joint Commission, licensed by the state of Texas, and eligible for Medicare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for X‑ray procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate X‑ray and other radiologic equipment to capture diagnostic images as ordered by physicians.
  • Adjust equipment settings to achieve optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and equipment maintenance reports.
  • Assist radiologists or physicians during specialized imaging procedures when required.
  • Ensure proper sterilization and cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
  • Monitor and maintain radiologic supplies and report equipment malfunctions.
  • Adhere to hospital or clinic policies, HIPAA regulations, and ethical standards in patient care.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or equivalent state licensure.
  • 1‑3 years of clinical radiography experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and patient care skills.
  • Knowledge of radiographic imaging principles, anatomy, and radiation safety.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
