Our fast‑paced, busy general, surgical and cosmetic Dermatology, Mohs/Plastic Surgery, and Aesthetic center practice is located in Prosper, Plano and McKinney. We require an experienced medical front office patient coordinator with at least 2 years of experience in this or a related field. Candidates must be dependable, punctual, detail‑oriented, self‑started, and thrive in fast‑paced environments. Prefer experience in Dermatology, Mohs, General or Plastic Surgery, Ob‑Gyn or Cardiology.

Bilingual is a plus. We use Mod Med EMA for our EMR and PMS. Experience with aesthetic services and products is a plus.

Schedule
  • Monday‑Thursday 7:45‑5 and Friday 7:45‑12 for full‑time
  • Part‑time/PRN schedules are flexible
  • Must be available to work at either location on any day
Qualifications
  • Proficient in medical administrative support and patient care
  • Skilled in Modernizing Medicine (EMA & PMS) systems – use practice management software (PMS), patient portal and appointment reminder systems, mobile applications, and other technologies to manage scheduling, interact with patients and providers, and update files and patients’ records
  • Experience in patient intake process, verifying and updating demographics and insurance coverages
  • Experience in patient check‑out process, collecting all payments due, scheduling recalls and follow‑ups, balancing all financial transactions
  • Experience in verifying and understanding insurance benefits, obtaining referrals, and patient intake processes
  • Experience in answering multi‑line phone systems and scheduling patients
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills when interacting with patients and staff
  • Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies, scheduling equipment service and repairs, and overseeing the delivery of supplies
  • Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus for effective patient communication
  • Experience in Dermatology, Mohs, Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic settings preferred
