Texas Licensed Associate Director Actuary

A company is looking for an Associate Director & Actuary.

Key Responsibilities Manage planning and forecasting processes for Bermuda captive, including modeling economic balance sheets and local statutory financial statements Produce standardized analytical packages for leadership, communicating financial performance under US GAAP and local statutory lenses Model financial impacts for strategic transactions and communicate results to senior leadership to assist in decision-making

Required Qualifications Preferred qualifications include ASA or FSA certification, or CPA/CFA credentials with a finance background in the insurance sector A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is preferred 5+ years of financial planning/forecasting experience in the insurance industry is required Broad knowledge of U.S. GAAP, US statutory, Bermuda statutory, accounting, and capital rules Experience in a large, complex, and dynamic organization is preferred
