Do you have significant JD Edwards or related ERP functional expertise? Are you a forward-thinking finance professional with a passion for innovation, problem-solving, and process improvement? The City of Plano is seeking a Strategic Financial Manager to play a key role in shaping the efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of our Finance and Budget operations. In this highly visible role, you will partner across departments to streamline financial systems, strengthen compliance, and support both internal and external audits through detailed research and analytics.
You'll also help drive process improvements, ensure efficient use of JD Edwards, implement new technologies, and provide strategic guidance that enhances the city's overall financial performance. The role also includes mentoring and training staff to strengthen organizational financial knowledge and system proficiency.
