Overview
This role will be onsite in either Purchase, NY or Plano, TX.
The Manager, Retirement, People Experience and Operations supports the North America retirement agenda with excellence in execution, administration, and compliance for the defined benefit plans in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, in addition to the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP). This role will be responsible for leading US and Puerto Rico Administration (DB), DB projects and M&A activities. This role will manage Claims and Appeals across all plans (DB/DC) and maintain both the Operation Manual and Documentation Library.
The role will work closely with Retirement Center of Excellence (CoE), Global HR Operations, IT, Treasury, Tax, Control and Legal. For context, Pepsi Co has approx. $20Bn DB pension with 150,000 DB pension plan participants as well as approx. 20,000 ESPP plan participants.
- Oversee day to day administration and compliance for US and Puerto Rico DB plans, partner with vendors and key stakeholders on program management, manage and resolve issues, and program optimization
- Partner with retirement CoE and other internal partners on DB and data enhancement projects; leading implementation with excellence in execution
- Oversee ESPP day to day administration and compliance, partner with vendors and key stakeholders on program management, manage and resolve issues, and program optimization
- Develop and deliver monthly project and data enhancement progress updates in partnership with vendors; manage vendor scorecards
- Manage Claims & Appeals process for DB/DC plans
- Build and maintain Operations Manual for Retirement Operations
- Maintain Training / Documentation library in partnership with Communications COE
- Support Annual Valuation Process and provide audit support to SME
- Manage Assoc. Manager (DB SME)
- Any other duties, as assigned
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $110,700 - $185,250.

- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.

- Bachelor's Degree required
- 8+ Years of Actuarial, Pension and/or Retirement Experience
- Demonstrated ability to execute with excellence with high level of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a high volume, fast-paced environment
- Ability to quickly identify, analyze and evaluate problems and recommend potential solutions
- Strong financial acumen, project management, vendor management and organization skills
- Solid foundation in DB (Defined Benefits) retirement plan operations, funding, valuations and accounting
- Deep actuarial experience with U.S. pension plans
- Good collaboration skills: ability to develop relationships, collaborate effectively across a variety of functions
- Highly proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel
- Spanish language proficiency a plus
