Position: Full-time Mortgage Loan Originator (fully commissioned with a draw; draws are minimum wage rates based on work location. Commission plan details presented at offer.)

Responsibilities:

• Develop, lead and originate mortgage loans through branches, realtors and builders.
• Interview mortgage loan applicants.
• Take loan applications from customers.
• Send applicant’s file to processors in the centralized loan support area.
• Respond to referrals from branch personnel and others.
• Assist in obtaining additional data or information when requested by processors.
• Cross-sell all bank products and services.

Qualifications and

Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience; MBA or Master’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of lending experience preferred.
• Creativity, flexibility, integrity and a commitment to customer support are essential.
• Ability to work autonomously, exercising considerable independent judgment.
• Maintain composure in stressful situations.
• Flexible hours required.

Working Conditions: The physical demands of this position require the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Employees may spend extended periods sitting or standing, using hands to operate computers or other equipment, and reaching for work‑related tasks. Regular walking may be required, along with occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, or climbing. The role may involve lifting or moving items weighing up to 10 pounds.

Vision requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
