$130,000 - $175,000 per year
Position OverviewOur client is a boutique investment bank with a national footprint and a deep specialization in the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) sector. Headquartered in Cleveland, and with offices in Grand Rapids, Plano, and Southern California, they provide M&A advisory, capital raising, and strategic consulting services to clients across the financial services landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the execution of M&A and capital markets transactions within the FIG sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and industry professionals.
- Oversee the preparation of financial models, valuation analyses, pitch books, and marketing materials.
- Drive due diligence processes and coordinate with legal, accounting, and other advisors.
- Mentor and supervise analysts and associates, fostering professional development and high performance.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities and supporting senior bankers in client outreach.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, or a related financial services role.
- Strong transaction experience in FIG, with a preference for candidates with specialty insurance expertise.
- Proven ability to lead deal execution and manage multiple work streams under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
- Series 79 and 63 licenses (or willingness to obtain).
Base salary: $130k - $175k
Discretionary bonus: up to 100%
