Finance Manager – Overview

The Finance Manager will supervise and direct analyses of information affecting investment programs and ensure compliance with accounting-related policies and procedures. This role involves managing the organization’s financial position, overseeing budgets, and handling investment and cash management activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future earnings or expenses.
  • Prepare special reports as required by regulatory authorities.
  • Direct organizational budgets to meet financial goals.
  • Oversee the investment of funds, manage associated risks, and supervise cash management activities.
  • Execute capital-raising strategies to support company expansion.
  • Oversee the firm’s issuance of credit, establish credit-rating criteria, determine credit ceilings, and monitor collections.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
  • Expert ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Expert ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
  • Expert knowledge of economic and accounting principles, financial markets, and data reporting, as well as federal, state, and company policies/regulations related to accounting.
  • Ability to gather and analyze large sets of quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels within and outside the company.
  • Korean bilingual preferred + prior work experience in SEA is a big PLUS.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related financial discipline is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
