Customer Engineer/Field Service Tech - Plano, TX

Tek Wissen is a global management consulting, technological service and outsourcing company delivering technology-driven business solutions to meet the strategically driven objectives for our numerous clients.
The role is a Customer Engineer/Field Service position based in Plano, TX. The position is an initial 3‑month contract with the possibility to convert to a permanent full‑time role.
Job Responsibilities and Qualifications- Provide excellent customer satisfaction and communication with clients.
- Hold an active A+ Certification.
- Replace hardware components in desktop computers (motherboard, processor, memory, etc.) in a professional environment.
- Replace hardware components in laptop computers (motherboard, processor, LCD screens, etc.) – preferred but not required.
- Be willing to drive up to 750 miles per week (typically under 500 miles).
- Maintain a business‑casual dress code.
- Work Monday – Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a 30‑minute lunch; no overtime, and report actual hours worked.
- Have reliable vehicle and ability to travel 250‑500 miles per week.
