Principal Cloud Engineer

Ascentt Systems Inc is seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of Principal Cloud Engineer based in Plano, TX. Responsibilities will include:
To research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Develop or direct software system testing or validation procedures, programming, or documentation. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, or security needs to determine hardware configuration.

Coordinate installation of software system. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance. Monitor functioning of equipment to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications. Work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements. Utilize experience in technical planning, collaboration and communication, technical guidance, mentorship and growth, Cloud GCP expertise and team leadership skills.

Position requires 50% national travel.

Position requires Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field, plus five (5) years of experience in a related occupation. Position requires experience in technical planning, collaboration and communication, technical guidance, mentorship and growth, Cloud GCP expertise and team leadership skills.
