Delta is seeking a Senior Technical Product Trainer – UPS Systems to serve as a subject matter authority across our critical power portfolio. This role is responsible for leading structured, product-focused technical enablement for internal teams, authorized service providers, and strategic partners.
The ideal candidate brings strong field engineering experience within UPS or mission-critical power environments and demonstrates the ability to translate complex system architecture into high-impact product education.
This is not an installation or commissioning position. The focus is product authority, technical depth, and instructional leadership.Target Compensation$115,000 – $130,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)
Key Responsibilities- Lead delivery of advanced technical training programs across Delta’s UPS product portfolio, ensuring alignment with engineering standards and field realities.
- Serve as a technical credibility anchor for internal service teams and channel partners, reinforcing product knowledge, system functionality, and troubleshooting methodology.
- Develop and refine structured training curriculum in collaboration with Product Management and Global Technical Support.
- Provide strategic input into product readiness, knowledge gaps, and field enablement initiatives.
- Assess training impact through measurable knowledge transfer and continuous improvement practices.
- Maintain professional-level documentation of training programs, certifications, and knowledge assets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline (or equivalent field experience).
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in UPS systems, critical power environments, commissioning, or advanced field service roles.
- Advanced working knowledge of UPS architecture, power distribution systems, battery technologies, and troubleshooting within mission-critical environments.
- Demonstrated ability to command technical discussions and deliver structured instruction to experienced engineering audiences.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence technical stakeholders.
- Advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and technical documentation platforms.
