Join Henderson Engineers as an Electrical Designer II in the Health sector. You will work on hospitals, behavioral health clinics, medical offices, senior living, and other healthcare environments.

Electrical Engineers and Electrical Designers are responsible for the design, coordination, documentation, and delivery of electrical building systems for our Healthcare Sector. Depending on experience level, individuals may perform engineering calculations, prepare and review design documents, coordinate with project teams, manage tasks or projects, provide technical leadership, mentor others, and support business development activities. All team members are expected to uphold a client‑centric mindset, demonstrate quality and integrity, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and continuously learning environment.

• Perform intermediate‑level calculations and design with minimal supervision.
• Prepare and modify plans, reports, and technical documents.
• Review shop drawings for compliance.
• Guide junior designers and provide technical support.
• Participate in business development and client coordination.
• Support limited project management and coordination tasks.
• Maintain current knowledge of codes, standards, and design tools.

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and design principles.
• MEP/Construction industry experience.
• FE and PE completion preferred.
• Ability to lead small tasks or portions of projects.
• Completion of FE exam, LEED and/or WELL accreditation.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge and proficiency in engineering design, A&E industry, codes, design guides and standards required.
• High technical aptitude and strong analytical, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering design software applicable to your discipline.
• Clear communication and willingness to ask questions.
