SummaryPartner seeks a full‑time Project Manager to conduct property condition assessments and manage projects through planning, execution, review, and finalization within deadlines and budgets.
Essential Duties & Tasks- Manage multiple projects concurrently
- Oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle
- Coordinate efforts of Partner team members and Associates to deliver projects according to plan
- Build and maintain strong relationships with team members and clients to deliver quality products on time
- Conduct occasional inspections and write reports
- Perform QA and QC review of all project materials, including text and appendices
- Communicate with client relationship managers and Professional Associates about scope‑of‑work and expectations throughout the project
- Clearly convey project expectations to team members and assessors
- Provide recommendations to RMs and clients, understanding assessment impact on transactions
- Identify and resolve project issues
- Deliver progress reports verbally or via e‑mail, and coordinate follow‑up questions with PAs
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members
- Place requests with the Project Coordinator Group for Partner Associate engagements and vendor items
- Respond to client requests for changes in project scope
- Excellent internal and external communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
- Proven track record of delivering quality products on time
- Exceptional writing skills
- Strong relationship‑building within a team
- Understanding of building science related to due diligence
- Proficiency in project estimating, proposal writing, QA, and report authoring
- Strong due diligence consulting skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in architecture, construction management, or an engineering discipline from an accredited university
- 5+ years of relevant experience in construction management or due diligence services
- 5+ years of experience conducting property inspections and writing associated assessments
- 1–2 years performing quality or peer reviews on property assessments
- Must read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
- Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading printed materials and computer screens
The pay scale for this role considers a range of factors, including skills, experience, licensure, and other organizational needs. Eligibility for a discretionary incentive bonus program may also apply.
