Location:
Plano, Texas.
- Overseeing Geotechnical Engineering Project Budget and Schedule
- Responsible for supervision/oversight of field and laboratory sampling and testing
- May require some field and laboratory work from time to time
- Training of staff level personnel
- Contracting/Negotiating of projects with vendors and clients
- Project lead for Construction Materials Testing and Forensic Projects
- Approving Vendor Invoices, Building T&M Invoices
- Reviewing of Geologic Research/Geotechnical Reports by others
- Geotechnical Report preparation and review
- Review of lab and field data from others
- Ensure on-time report delivery
- Client interactions/Responses to RFIs
- Pertinent Engineering degree required
- Professional Civil Engineer Certification in State of Texas required
- Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English
- Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
- Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen
- Requires frequent bending, reaching, and standing, walking, sitting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift
- Field work including hand-augers, infiltration tests, logging and sampling of soil borings, will be needed from time to time
- Laboratory work, including lifting and moving soil samples and lab equipment, sieving of soils and aggregate, etc. will be needed from time to time
