The Advanced Concept Engineer (ACE) provides strategic technical leadership and innovation to meet the business needs of L3

Harris and its customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Interpret customer mission needs and identify mission gaps.
• Advocate critical customer needs to internal stakeholders.
• Build a business case and manage discretionary resources.
• Roadmap technology and partner capabilities to new business opportunities.
• Perform technical and competitive assessments and communicate value to customer and L3
  
  Harris.
• Define and coordinate high-level system performance, functional, and program interface requirements.
• Generate initial CONOPS and system architecture views.
• Lead solution development, trade studies, and make/buy decisions.
• Coordinate technical integration and capture innovations.
• Prepare and present technical information to stakeholders.
• Lead pursuit activities such as JAD, RFIs, RFPs, and white papers.

• Mastery-level knowledge in at least one technical area; advanced degrees or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with 10+ years.
• 10+ years executing or participating in DoD/government programs.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.

• Doctor of Science or Master in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics.
• Technical business development and communication skills.
• Experience in architecture development, antenna manifolds, beamforming, AI/ML for RF.
• Experience with DoD, IC, unmanned platforms, sensor development, cyber warfare.
• Leadership and entrepreneurial track record.

Salary range for New Jersey: $150,000-$278,000. Additional benefits include health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, parental leave, and company‑paid holidays.
