• Create nutritious, kid-approved meals and snacks that support healthy growth.
• Keep the kitchen organized and manage food and supply storage.
• Serve meals to classrooms, ensuring every child is fueled for learning and play.
• Maintain a clean, efficient kitchen and handle dishes and systems.
• Assist with additional tasks such as laundry, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing toys to keep the school sparkling.

  This role involves some lifting.

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years old.
• Meets all state preschool cook requirements.
• 1 year of experience in food planning, preparation, and service, following USDA guidelines.
• Preferred:
  Current Food Handler’s Card or Serv Safe certification.

• Whip up minor meal prep with care, ensuring healthy, tasty dishes for children.
• Keep food and supply storage areas organized and ready for action.
• Distribute meals to classrooms with a smile, making deliveries a delight.
• Maintain a clean, efficient kitchen, handling dishes and systems effectively.
• Tackle extra duties like laundry and cleaning to keep the school shining.
• Bring energy and enthusiasm to a role that involves some lifting.
