Teachers Now is looking to hire dependable and motivated Substitute Teachers to serve schools in Dallas-Fort Worth , TX
. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to support your community by providing stability to student learning, contributing to a positive and productive classroom environment when regular teachers are away.

- Lead classroom instruction using lesson plans provided by the teacher
- Create a respectful and well-organized learning environment
- Manage classroom behavior and encourage student participation
- Supervise students during lunch, recess, and transitions
- Assign and review classwork and homework aligned with learning goals
- Record attendance and report concerns to school staff
- Collaborate with school personnel to support academic and behavioral outcomes
- For long-term roles, develop and deliver your own lesson plans in alignment with curriculum
- Availability:
Monday through Friday - Full Day: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Half Day:
Between 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (Depends on grade level - 4 hour shift)
- Associate's Degree or 60 Credit Hours (Required)
- 1 year of experience in a classroom or childcare setting (preferred)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Dependable transportation and consistent attendance
Substitute Teacher Compensation (Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas):
Starting at $90-120/day (Based on level of education/teacher certification)
