Job DescriptionPosition Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- General knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures.
- Passionate about player development, fundamentals, and mentoring young men in a faith-centered environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, instruct and supervise student athletes.
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree or higher preferred.
- A minimum of three years of experience as a high school, college or professional running backs coach is required.
Physical Requirements Specific to the Job:
- Will be exposed to hot and cold weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to traverse various athletic grounds and facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Position
- Must be able to:
- Attend all varsity football games (most Friday nights, occasional Thursday night or Saturday).
- Attend morning practices: 6am to 8am or 7am to 9am.
- Attend Saturday film and game planning sessions.
- Other duties as assigned.
