Modern refractive care. Thoughtful outreach. A place to belong.
At Visionary Eye
, vision correction is about more than procedures. It is about perspective. Founded by a solo refractive surgeon, Visionary Eye blends advanced technology, decisive care, and human connection to help patients see clearly and live boldly.
We are seeking a refractive and interventional minded optometrist who values clinical excellence, meaningful relationships, and being part of a growing, collaborative refractive ecosystem.
About the RoleThis role sits at the intersection of patient care, education, and professional collaboration.

- Patient education around modern refractive technologies, lens-based solutions, and interventional glaucoma options including iDose.
- Identifying early cataracts and guiding patients through thoughtful, confidence-building conversations about surgical and lens-based options
- Working closely with a refractive surgeon in an office-based surgery (OBS) setting
, allowing for streamlined care and continuity from evaluation through intervention.
Care at Visionary Eye is decisive, patient-centered, and technology-forward, with clarity always taking precedence over hesitation.
Co-Management and OutreachWe believe the strongest refractive practices are built with optometry.
In this role, you will help:
- Foster trusted relationships with referring optometrists across DFW
- Serve as a clinical ambassador for Visionary Eye, optometrist to optometrist
- Support collaborative co-management built on transparency, respect, and excellent outcomes
- Participate in professional conversations, educational touchpoints, and outreach as appropriate
This is about collaboration, not competition.

- Has a refractive or interventional mindset
- Enjoys patient education and collaboration with peers and colleagues
- Is comfortable discussing surgery and premium options when clinically appropriate
- Values belonging, trust, and professional respect
- Wants to practice at a high level within a focused, supportive environment
- Appreciates a role with strong compensation, performance incentives, and clear expectations
- Office-based surgery setting
- State-of-the-art diagnostics and refractive technology
- State-of-the-art, brand new, modern facility
- Efficient workflows with strong clinical support
- Experience with Nex Tech EMR is helpful, though not required
- A premium refractive and lens-based practice with a human philosophy
- Privately owned, not corporate
- Clear clinical standards and mutual respect
- A growing Visionary ecosystem rooted in clarity, humility, and purpose
- A place where clinicians can do meaningful work and feel at home doing it
