Project Engineer, Civil Engineering

Uprite Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support project execution from preconstruction through closeout. This role is focused on coordination, documentation, and helping project teams maintain momentum in a fast‑paced commercial construction environment. The Project Engineer works closely with Project Managers and Superintendents and is a strong entry point for long‑term growth within the company.

• Support RFIs, submittals, and change order processes to keep projects moving forward
• Maintain organized project documentation and ensure accurate file management
• Assist with scheduling coordination and tracking project milestones
• Review drawings and specifications to help identify scope and potential issues
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors regarding deliverables and timelines
• Track procurement activities and help ensure materials arrive on schedule
• Support cost tracking, commitments, and basic budget reporting
• Attend project meetings and communicate updates to internal teams
• Assist with project closeout documentation and punch list tracking

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• One to three years of construction experience or internship experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software preferred
• Desire to learn and grow within commercial construction
