Sales​/Billing Specialist

The Sales/Billing Specialist is responsible for generating invoices, processing payments, maintaining financial records, and ensuring accurate billing operations within an organization. This role supports revenue integrity and customer satisfaction by resolving billing discrepancies promptly and accurately.

• Generate and distribute customer invoices (manual and automated)
• Review contracts, purchase orders, and service agreements for billing accuracy
• Process payments (ACH, credit card, wire, checks)
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Manage accounts receivable aging reports
• Follow up on outstanding balances
• Post payments and adjustments in accounting systems
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Utilize ERP systems and billing software (e.g., Net Suite, SAP, Quick Books)
• Create and track tickets in systems such as Jira for billing-related issues
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• 2–4 years of billing or accounts receivable experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Experience with ERP or accounting software
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
• Familiarity with Jira or ticketing systems for issue tracking
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience in high-volume invoicing environments
• Knowledge of revenue recognition principles
• Ability to analyze financial data and trends
• Experience working in SaaS, healthcare, logistics, or data center environments (if applicable)
