Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in Banking Business Analysis to join our dynamic team in Plano, Texas. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of business analysis principles and methodologies, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects in the banking sector. This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions.

This position is ONSITE in Plano TX

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough business analysis to identify and document business requirements, processes, and workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop detailed functional specifications and use cases to guide the development and implementation of solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to elicit requirements and validate solutions.
• Perform gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
• Support project management activities, including project planning, risk management, and status reporting.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Provide ongoing support and training to end users to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.

Mandatory

Skills:

• Strong expertise in Banking Business Analysis, with a deep understanding of banking products, services, and regulations.
• Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements in a banking environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

Preferred

Skills:

• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management in the banking sector.
• Experience in leading cross functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7 10 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on the banking industry.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are a plus.
