Business Analyst

Responsibilities

Helps train a team of Business Analysts and analyze business processes/systems, identify inefficiencies and required controls, document procedures, and track KPIs.

Defines high-level application relationships, flows, implementation of business processes, activities, functions, information, and applications, and creates business and system use cases or functional specifications.

Collaborates with internal and external customers to elicit business concerns and develop workable solutions.

Participates in planning initiatives, feasibility studies, cost/benefit analyses, and new systems design.

Creates business requirement documents (BRD) that set out project requirements including costs, objectives, milestones, and timelines.

Creates, extracts, and modifies ad-hoc and standardized reports based on financial and operational data as needed.

Possesses a thorough understanding of data, sources, and relationships to generate meaningful information for management.

Analyzes and suggests areas for cost control and reduction and develops business process flows.

Works independently and collaborates with junior and senior stakeholders.

• Knowledge of scripting and database languages such as Oracle PL/SQL, MySQL, etc.
• Strong working knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA/Confluence.
• Experience supporting business requirements for large scale applications in the concerned domain.
• Knowledge of defect tracking and release management.

• Great communication skills, 5+ years.
• Experience working with users and converting business requirements to technical requirements, 4+ years.
• Experience working with product owners to build backlog, 3+ years.
• Experience working with IT Engineers and developers, 3+ years.
• Experience in SQL, 4+ years.

• Convert business requirements to technical requirements.
