Position OverviewManager of Supply Chain Management for the RSS Product Line, onsite in Plano, Texas. The role is directly accountable for overall program execution of materials management in support of our Naval Power customer, ensuring success across cost, schedule, and quality while managing supplier performance.
What You Will Do- Manage several TINA suppliers and collaborate with Program IPTs to ensure cost-effective material availability for production requirements.
- Conduct sales forecasting for all assigned ETC.
- Support program capture efforts by working with the New Business Team to obtain compliant material pricing submittals and develop BOEs (Basis of Estimates) for MPM support labor.
- Create, manage, and execute MPS (Material Program Strategy) and MPP (Material Program Plan) to enable successful program competitiveness and performance from front-end business planning through contract closure.
- Provide comprehensive supply chain support for Gates 0-11 activities, ensuring IPDP compliance and tailoring where applicable. Key activities include financial management such as EV, budgets, targets, working capital, and material sales forecasts.
- Monitor and proactively address performance and financial metrics, including cost, schedule, quality, and EVMS.
- Collaborate with other programs to maximize efficiency of program execution, including other RI&S programs commonality.
- Own the supplier management process, including performance, SCM metrics, international issues, Make/Buy Where strategy, strategic agreements, and communication of customer flow through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, and warranty.
- University degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 8 years relevant supply chain experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 6 years experience.
- Experience in supply chain and related systems, procurement, MRP, receiving, cost estimating, and/or finance.
- Experience with supplier management and/or subcontract management.
- Experience preparing for and supporting negotiations with suppliers.
- Experience with Special Access Programs and Office 365.
- Experience with Six‑Sigma methodology (CORE) and/or tools such as lean manufacturing, diagnostics, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Experience working in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.
- Experience translating customer terms and conditions into supplier requirements.
- Experience managing technical requirements to a schedule and budget.
Salary range: 107,500 USD – 204,500 USD. Benefits are dependent on the specific business unit and collective‑bargaining agreements.
