The Samsung direct-to-consumer ecommerce team is looking for a Manager of SCM to drive both short term and long term Demand and Supply planning for Mobile Experience business. This candidate will play a critical role and be responsible for managing weekly/monthly/quarterly sales forecast with high accuracy and developing supply plan (Sellout and Sellin AP1 and AP2) based on Ecommerce sales drivers, promotional analysis and category specific business knowledge.

He/she will also manage overall SCM including S&OP confirmation, aging, inventory management, backorders, buy box management, and execute weekly/monthly plans to achieve revenue targets.

The individual is expected to be hands‑on in preparing sales forecasting, SKU level sellout and selling forecast, using Ecommerce sales drivers (Traffic, conversion rate), and promotions; build supply plan and manage PSI (Production, Sales and Inventory). He/She will closely work with category managers to develop forecasts and supply plans and collaborate with the business planning team to plan/manage monthly target plans.

The candidate also leads communication with Central SCM and Biz Ops to secure supply by confirming production plans and managing inventory. The Manager is responsible for achieving target forecast accuracy, ensuring supply for monthly revenue targets and maintaining optimal inventory. A successful candidate is highly analytical, possesses critical thinking skills and business savvy, adapts quickly, and works cross‑functionally to influence sales and operations teams toward a common goal in a highly matrixed, fast‑paced organization.

The position is located in Plano, TX.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Manage weekly/monthly/quarterly sales forecast for both demand and supply (Sellout and Sellin AP1 and AP2) for all Mobile business categories
  • Use Ecommerce sales drivers (Traffic/CVR) and promotions to develop forecasts
  • Lead, own and manage PSI and S&OP
  • Own Buy box management with ecommerce Ops tools
  • Lead Supply Chain Planning to ensure adequate supply and no excess supply by ensuring SKU level mix
  • Inventory planning and management
  • Manage Aging by accurately forecasting, tracking aging and working with Category Management to build programs to clear aging
  • Drive Supply Chain transition and transformation to effectively integrate demand and supply and financial targets
  • Significantly improve planning process by integrating demand plan, supply plan, financial outlook and target plan for a long‑term sustainable business
  • Define the gap vs the target/management plan and work with CMs to drive gap closures
  • Work with Category Management, Finance and Operations team
  • Hands‑on to work on forecasting, gap analysis, presentations and promotional analysis
Skills and Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management building sales forecasts and managing supply chain PSI; 2 years of experience can be substituted with a Master’s degree
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Economics/Supply Chain or in math/analytics/engineering is required
  • Master’s in Business Analytics or MBA would be a plus
  • Hands‑on with advanced Excel with attention to detail to integrate complex data into forecasting and analysis; ability to handle multiple complex Excel files is a must
