Dealer Success Manager (DSM)
As a Dealer Success Manager
, you operate as a Strategic Consultant and Customer‑Centric Partner to auto dealers, anchoring your efforts firmly within the Capital One Sales Process. This role requires an extremely high‑level partnership with your POD counterparts to collaboratively strategize and achieve superior success, providing consultative expertise and training enablement that supports the POD’s core sales objectives.
You are instrumental in expanding our footprint by contributing to and supporting the POD’s efforts in gaining and retaining Navigator Platform subscribers. You will educate key auto dealer stakeholders, ensuring they maximize the value of our technology and processes, directly impacting the company’s bottom line.
We seek dedicated, disciplined sales professionals psyaces in process improvement and with strong interpersonal skills. The role demands effective communication and influence across multiple levels of the organization, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic, agile environment. A customer‑centric individual who excels at training, tool adoption, and rapid technical troubleshooting is essential.
- Strategic POD Partnership: Collaborate with the Area Sales Manager (ASM) and POD team members (RMs, ARMs) to develop and execute cohesive market strategies and achieve unified sales goals.
- Sales Enablement and Retention Cycle Ownership: Drive superior success by supporting the POD’s sales efforts for Navigator Platform and owning the customer adoption and retention lifecycle, which includes:
- Driving process improvements aligned with superior customer outcomes and the overarching Capital One Sales Process.
- Providing subject matter expertise on processes and Navigator Platform when representing the Sales organization.
- Product and Process troubleshooting, specifically relating to Navigator Platform.
- Frequent, in‑market visits to dealerships to foster relationships and execute the customer enablement cycle.
Travel: This position will involve traveling up to 50% within the Dallas metro area.
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in Process Management.
- At least 1 year of experience in Relationship Management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 2+ years of experience in Process Management.
- 2+ years of experience in Relationship Management.
Compensation
Plano, TX: $109,900 - $125,400 for Dealer Success Manager. This role is also eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long‑term incentives.
