Contract Specialist

Responsibilities

• Experience leading end-to-end sourcing events, from strategy development through contract execution.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle for category suppliers, including contract initiation, execution, Statements of Work (SOWs), amendments, renewals, and terminations.
• Broad functional experience across supply chain, procurement, contracts, and project management.
• Participate in recurring category review meetings with internal teams and business partners to ensure alignment with strategic business initiatives.
• Ensure supplier and contract alignment with overall category strategies and organizational priorities.
• Execute category strategies while developing a robust sourcing pipeline and cost-optimization agreements.
• Own and manage internal stakeholder KPIs for assigned categories and support supplier scorecards for external partner performance.

• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in purchasing, commercial contract negotiation, and supplier management environments.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience procuring Software, Cloud, and SaaS solutions.
• Proven expertise in negotiation, analytical thinking, decision-making, and stakeholder relationship management.
• Demonstrated excellence in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing systems, category management, and strategic sourcing methodologies.
• Experience with Workday Strategic Sourcing (Scout
  
  RFP) and Workday.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, with strong skills in Word for formatting and contract redlining.
