Overview

Wheeler Staffing Partners is growing! We’re looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Plano, TX office. This individual will be a true hunter — passionate about building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue in the competitive world of staffing and recruiting.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced team with significant career growth potential into account management, leadership, or senior business development roles.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities across multiple industries.
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies to secure client meetings and build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Attend networking events, client meetings, trade shows, and happy hours to expand brand visibility and relationships.
  • Partner with internal recruiting teams to deliver customized staffing solutions that meet client needs.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing new accounts.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and opportunities for expansion.
  • Collaborate with leadership on business development strategy and market expansion.
  • Represent Wheeler Staffing Partners with professionalism and enthusiasm in all client interactions.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, staffing sales, or B2B sales (preferred).
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and developing new client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong networking ability — enjoys being out in the community, meeting people, and building trust.
  • Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and a passion for closing deals.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment (in-office collaboration + local client travel).
