Staff Accountant

A rapidly growing company in the construction industry, with strong backing and a reputation for operational excellence. With annual revenues of $200M, they are expanding across the region and are looking for a skilled accountant to support their growth.

The company is seeking a Staff or Senior Accountant to assist with general accounting, financial reporting, and project accounting. Reporting to the Group Controller, you will manage key accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and assisting with financial reporting. This is a hands‑on, onsite position located in North Dallas, with a focus on accuracy and process improvement.

• Manage general ledger, journal entries, and monthly, quarterly, and year‑end closes.
• Prepare and analyze Percentage of Completion (POC) and Work in Progress (WIP) reports.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and assist with intercompany consolidations.
• Collaborate with operations teams for accurate expense coding.
• Support the implementation of MS 365 Dynamics Business Central.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and sales tax reporting.
• Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience (construction industry preferred).
• CPA or eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.
• Proficient in MS D365 Business Central and Excel.
• Experience with POC reporting is a plus.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and organizational skills.
