Staff Accountant / Bookkeeper

This position will provide varied accounting services to multiple clients.

• Enter bank & credit card transactions
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and other account transactions
• Process payroll, including quarterly and year‑end reporting, W-2s, 1099s
• Prepare sales tax returns for multiple states
• Manage accounts payable, including entering bills and matching to purchase orders
• Calculate commissions
• Invoice customers
• Track time
• Manage accounts receivable

• Strong work ethic and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Quick Books experience preferred
• 0‑3 years of experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with clients via telephone, email, and in‑person
• Ability to work independently with general supervision as well as being a team player
• Exceptional customer service skills
