By exhibiting exceptional teamwork, boundless curiosity, and the utmost care, the Retail Store Sales Associate will assist their team to fulfill Blick’s commitment to our customers, the Arts, and our local communities. The role requires maintaining outstanding customer service, generating revenue through product knowledge, housekeeping, merchandising, pricing, POS operations, and loss prevention in adherence to all company policies and procedures.

• Consistently deliver superior customer service by combining sales, product knowledge, and other skill training to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Complete and utilize the Blick Onboarding Training, Blick Sales Training, Preferred Customer Program, and Special Orders.
• Display an energetic and positive attitude with all customer interactions.
• Assist in the coordination of merchandise set‑ups, understand visual standards and techniques, and implement and maintain the store as directed by store management.
• Follow directions and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Report low stock levels, inventory discrepancies, and customer product requests to management as needed.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work flexible schedules including day, evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Regular attendance in accordance with the retail attendance policy.

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds, following proper lifting techniques and safety rules.
• Prolonged walking, standing, and climbing ladders.

• Minimal travel within the local area may be required.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of previous retail, sales, and/or customer service experience.

• $16.64 - $17.19 per hour plus sales incentives.
