We are so much more than a Parts Store and we are looking for great talent to join our NAPA family. As a NAPA Counter Sales associate
, you are considered the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers entering our retail stores for all automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down and rebuild engines, but you should have a background and knowledge of automotive parts. This role is a strong entry point to grow into a Parts Specialist or explore other careers within the company.

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter or over the phone
• Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members in answering customer questions
• Provide outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who enters the store
• Bring customer focus and high energy to a fast-paced environment
• Welcome retail customers and engage to provide a positive consumer experience
• Use technology (computer), cash register, telephone, and paper catalog systems

• Genuinely enjoy helping retail and wholesale customers with auto parts and service questions
• Have gained parts experience through the automotive industry or by tinkering with/repairing cars and trucks
• Are willing to learn all things automotive if you don’t have the background in automotive parts
• Want to join a team where you can learn and grow your career

• Valid Driver's License
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn all things auto parts
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses or degree is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced retail environments
• Good listening skills and empathy for customers

• Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership
• Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, or auto body/collision
• Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems
• Customer-centric approach
• ASE Certifications (desirable)
