American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a Level IV Trauma acute care hospital, with on-call requirements and first-time travelers welcome.

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 49 staffed beds, designated as a Level IV Trauma Center
• Vascular Ultrasound department; echocardiography and general ultrasound experience preferred
• Patient ratio of 8:1
• 4x10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call required Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM, and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday
• Weekend on-call required
• EMR:
  Epic (required)
• No floating between units within this assignment; however, travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in vascular ultrasound
• Current BLS certification required
• ARDMS or equivalent certification required; license required if applicable
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Experience in echocardiography and general ultrasound preferred
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of total employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Free parking is available in any unrestricted space
