Vascular Ultrasound Technologist – Travel Assignment
Location: Plainview, TX
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift – 4x10s (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vascular ultrasound studies including carotid, arterial, venous, and duplex exams
- Conduct Doppler and color flow studies for vascular diagnostics
- Perform general ultrasound exams including abdominal, renal, OB/GYN, and small parts
- Assist with breast, thyroid, and scrotal imaging when required
- Support diagnostic procedures including ultrasound-guided biopsies and paracentesis
- Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain accurate imaging documentation in Epic/PACS
- Perform portable exams across various departments including ICU, ER, and inpatient units
- Ensure patient safety by following infection control and PPE protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare teams to deliver accurate diagnostic results
- Assist with precepting clinicians and supporting departmental workflow
Required Qualifications
- ARDMS Certification
- RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) – ARDMS
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience
- Experience with vascular ultrasound studies
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
