Lead Patient Admissions Coordinator - On Site, Full Time, Day Shift
This individual is responsible for the day-to-day staff management, identification of issues with resolution, and staff quality/productivity measures. This position is responsible for promoting a positive patient experience and ensuring patient satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications- Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration, or equivalent educ/experience
- Upon hire:
Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon hire:
Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) - Upon hire:
Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS) - Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Demonstrated knowledge of CPT and ICD coding and medical terminology.
- Basic knowledge of insurance and managed care payors, healthcare registration, Medicare Secondary Payor, EMTALA and ABN.
- 6 months familiarity with basic financial clearance functions.
- 3 years supervisory experience in outpatient registration or related experience in healthcare setting.
- 1 yearknowledge of Epic applications.
- 6 months coursework in subjects such as team building, facilitating teams, process improvement, conflict resolution, etc.
- Experience with MEDITECH system.
