Lead Patient Admissions Coordinator - On Site, Full Time, Day Shift

This individual is responsible for the day-to-day staff management, identification of issues with resolution, and staff quality/productivity measures. This position is responsible for promoting a positive patient experience and ensuring patient satisfaction.

• Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration, or equivalent educ/experience
• Upon hire:
  Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
• Upon hire:
  Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA)
• Upon hire:
  Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS)
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CPT and ICD coding and medical terminology.
• Basic knowledge of insurance and managed care payors, healthcare registration, Medicare Secondary Payor, EMTALA and ABN.
• 6 months familiarity with basic financial clearance functions.
• 3 years supervisory experience in outpatient registration or related experience in healthcare setting.
• 1 yearknowledge of Epic applications.
• 6 months coursework in subjects such as team building, facilitating teams, process improvement, conflict resolution, etc.
• Experience with MEDITECH system.
