About the Role

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Managed Care is seeking a dependable and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist to join our clinical team on a part-time basis (8 hours per week). This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality radiologic services while supporting the administrative and clinical processes that keep daily operations running smoothly.

The position offers schedule flexibility
, with the specific day and hours open for discussion, provided work is completed Monday through Friday
. Work is performed under general supervision, with a high degree of independence within established guidelines and procedures. The role involves regular interaction with patients, physicians, and clinical staff in a professional clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with all Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) policies and procedures.
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, including positioning and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to perform X-ray procedures and digitally transfer images.
  • Verify consultant billing submissions for accuracy.
  • Order and maintain radiology supplies and coordinate preventive maintenance for equipment.
  • Assist with Medical Records as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and reports, including daily patient counts for monthly reporting.
  • Ensure all data and documentation are current, accurate, and compliant with state inspection requirements.

Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of a high School diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of approved two year program in radiological technology.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiological Technology.
